Job Description

Major Responsibilities

Develops business requirements for new projects, capabilities and redesigned processes to ensure the customer and business needs are met, interacting directly with stakeholders as required.
Provides business insight, leadership and direction to cross functional teams and IT to ensure the successful prioritization, design and execution of key strategic projects.
Defines project scope, goals, and deliverables to support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Estimates the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. Drafts and submits budget proposals; recommends subsequent budget changes where appropriate.
Develops project plans and identifies and manages project dependencies, milestones, and critical path using appropriate tools.         Proactively manages changes in project scope. Identifies potential crises and devises contingency plans.
Manages the project development life cycle from inception to completion, ensuring quality control at all stages.
Provides project management oversight to ensure projects are delivered with agreed upon functionality and are within approved timelines, budgets, and benefits.
Develops and implements communications to ensure changes are understood and implemented as planned.
Coordinates comprehensive system testing to ensure technology changes are implemented as designed and that changes did not negatively impact any other systems functionality.
Manages people, processes, budgets, performance management, compliance activities, and associate development as required by the job.

Skills/Knowledge Required

Self-starter that can work independently or with a team, with little or no supervision.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all levels of management, including the ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources.
Strong written/verbal communications; Express ideas clearly and persuasively, in oral and written form; along with successful negotiating abilities.

Excellent organizational skills, with a high attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, multi-task, and be flexible in fast-paced, changing environment.

Strong analytical and mathematical capabilities with proven skills in problem solving.

Solid understanding of financial concepts

Understanding of inventory management techniques, system basics (turns, fill rate). Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures.
Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
Ability to resolve conflicts.

Intermediate/Advanced skill with MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams, as well as reporting/analysis tools such as Hyperion, Power BI, etc….

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree (Business, Logistics, Operations Management, or equivalent experience if PMP certified)
PMP Certification a plus
Minimum of 5+ years relevant work experience
