Delta Vacations is seeking a self-motivated Human Resources Coordinator reporting directly to the Director, Human Resources. 

As a contributing member to the Human Resources Headquarters team, you will be responsible for managing their day-to-day HR support which include, but not limited to, planning, execution, and/or delivery of Human Resources initiatives and projects with special focus on compliance, corporate security, on-boarding, engagement, facilities services,  correspondence, developing reports and file maintenance. What Else Will You Be Doing (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

Plan for and deliver onboarding sessions for new employees to include the review of corporate policy, explanation of benefits, and completion of all required new hire paperwork and enrollments. 

Administer corporate compliance and security programs to include coordination of ID badges, employee enrollment, compliance coursework and research, and required employment publications.  

Assist with the preparation of presentations, materials and communications. 

Oversee the integrity and safekeeping of all physical employee records.

Assist in the incoming and outgoing mail processes for DLV Headquarters.    

Compile and monitor budgetary files, track expenses, process invoices and preparing monthly forecast and variance reports.

Coordinate the delivery of employee meetings and events to include tactic development, registration, materials preparation, set up and delivery, as appropriate.

Assist in the execution of the corporate anniversary program.

Manage the Outlook Photo Directory program and schedule photo sessions as needed. 

Regularly evaluate processes and make recommendations to improve efficiency. Act in accordance with departmental privacy and security policies and procedures.

Coordinate with Corporate Communications and Human Resources on the timely execution of all leadership communications. 

Coordinate employee inquiries and relations situations that come to the attention of the Human Resources department. 

Track deadlines and follow up on project deliverables. 

Generate and distribute reports pertaining to assigned responsibilities. 

Comply with all corporate and departmental policies/procedures and applicable governmental regulations. 

Coordinate ad-hoc projects and special assignments as assigned, which may include cross-utilization within the department or with other departments. 

Be available for after-hour support as needed.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or equivalent work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three+ years proven experience as an HR Coordinator or relevant human resources position. 
Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
Proficient PC skills including advanced level knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Must have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
Must be team-oriented and possess the ability to exercise good judgment/reasoning skills in a variety of situations, with outstanding written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
Mathematical aptitude.
Must feel comfortable and be flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient in a fast-paced work environment.
Occasion domestic and international travel to fulfill assigned responsibilities.

Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

Education in Human Resources Management or certification will be a plus.
Knowledge of human resources best practices.
Travel industry experience. 
Knowledge of Delta Vacations’ or Delta programs, policies, procedures and systems.
Working knowledge of HRIS systems preferred.
MS Teams, Forms and Publisher.
