Under the direction of the Pricing Director, the Pricing Analyst will be responsible for PDI pricing and contracting strategy leadership and improvement to drive operating profit growth via the management and analysis of price and cost recovery. A key responsibility will be working with the business to ensure opportunities for improvement and the strategies to achieve desired results.
Pricing Analyst
Price override analysis and improvement plans
Analyzes and enhances price measurement systems that evaluate the success of contract and price strategies and processes
Works closely with Sales/Product Management, Data Management, the Business Intelligence group and IT to ensure compliance with existing and development of new automated processes for actions relating to price implementation and the measurement of price
Identifies, implements, and tracks productivity projects relating to pricing and cost recovery opportunities
Develops internal and external communications such as implementation guidelines, customer sales support materials, letters, and internal FAQ documents
Creates ad hoc analysis/reports as needed
Other duties assigned
Ability to interact constructively with all levels of PDI employees in the field to facilitate change.

Bachelor's Degree is preferred
Excellent PC skills including Excel, Access, and aptitude to learn other applications
