Position Summary

The individual is responsible for the coordination of strategic customer service, warehouse operations and inventory management. Will establish and maintain strong communication patterns and develop effective troubleshooting skills to ensure a specified territory of distributors and warehouses achieve Constellation sales and operational goals.  

Responsibilities

Provides strategic customer support to Constellation distributors while assisting with standard order management services.  Responds to customer contact, researches and responds to inquiries related but not limited to sales orders, inventory, deliveries, quality issues, claims, invoices, pricing, credit terms and proof of delivery.  Responds to all requests within 24 hours.
Consults Constellation distributors on maintaining ideal inventory levels for the purpose of mitigating potential retail out of stocks and aligning demand with CBI expectations. Makes adjustments to distributor orders where possible and communicates significant order discrepancies.
Collaborates with Customer Management Analytics group to produce meaningful conversations using data. Utilizes analytical resources to drive ideal wholesaler ordering behavior and distribution center efficiencies.
Coordinates distribution center operations to meet organizational goals. Manages product allocations when necessary, monitors receipts for accuracy and timeliness, as well as analyzing and balancing inventory.  Communicates program expectations to warehouse counterparts and assists in identifying solutions for areas of constraint. Coordinates the setup of product transfers where appropriate. Responds to all requests within 24 hours.
Responsible for oversight of distribution center inventory variances. Provides trouble shooting and support for inventory discrepancies and ensures track and trace errors are communicated to the necessary resources. 
Manages product rotation. Reviews code date information weekly and proactively addresses any potential issues by working with distributor network or moving product to an area with adequate demand. Communicates potential code date risks and ensures risks are captured in bi-weekly department reporting.
Actively tracks program completion. Works with distributors to ensure weekly programs are being executed and addresses areas of constraint including warehouse delivery and distributor receiving capacity.
Collaborates with other departmental teams to ensure proper assignment of purchase orders. Determine most cost effective mode of transportation when securing transportation for non-standard shipments.  Provides information to the Transportation team as needed to assist in auditing of invoices from vendors to ensure accuracy of destinations and quantities.
Works closely with Sales division to ensure maximum billings are achieved, distributor inventory risks are communicated, wholesaler ordering discrepancies are resolved and provide solutions for stressed inventory. Assures successful execution of new product launches through effective collaboration with field sales and warehouse management.
Ensures timely ship confirmation and invoicing of shipments to customers. Resolves invoice/shipment discrepancies.
Performs other duties and responsibilities such as but not limited to special projects, supplier presentations and financial audit requirements.
Cross-trains with other department personnel as necessary.
Training for future system and software enhancements.

Minimum Qualifications

Must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Requires well-developed communication, organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a variety of people at all levels.  Requires a high customer service focus and the ability to problem solve to meet and exceed organizational expectations. 
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (or equivalent software) is required.  Must be comfortable working with computers and have the ability to learn new software.  Experience with ERP software preferred.  
Must be a detail-minded, analytical, deadline-oriented self-starter who has the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Must be willing to learn and acquire new skills and abilities.
Must be willing to work overtime when necessary (i.e., late evenings, some Saturdays, etc.)
Must be willing and able to travel as needed.
