Job Summary

Digital Inbound Marketing Manager 

SEO Managers are responsible for analyzing pages on netapp.com for opportunities to improve overall search standing. SEO Managers will work across multiple revenue teams to support strategies created by the content teams, product and solution marketers, and the user experience teams. Ideal candidates should be data-driven creative thinkers who can work on on-page optimization, new keyword research, and technical SEO work to ensure the most performant site for NetApp.

What they do:

Prepare page improvements for the site and communicate changes with team leads and the content leaders within each of the revenue teams.
Identifying new and powerful keywords to drive the most valuable traffic to pages on netapp.com with consideration for the keywords and techniques used by NetApp’s competitors. 
Take initiative to stay current in SEO best practices and routinely audit the wider NetApp stack to discover opportunities for content, technical improvements, or on-page optimization.
Compile, analyze and present SEO findings and recommendations to stakeholders with an educational slant to bring everyone along.
SEO Managers should also have experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console, Moz and other necessary tools for the work.

Job Requirements

At least three years of experience in successfully developing and executing SEO campaigns
Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods
Experience with SEO industry programs, such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
Knowledge of keyword research and data mining tools
Able to complete competitive analysis of other companies within the industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (email, phone, etc.)
Comfortable analyzing high volumes of data on a daily basis
Experience with other aspects of marketing, such as customer growth and promotion, is a plus
