Sr. Analyst, General Accounting

Job Description

What you'll do:

Support month-end closing activities, including preparation and posting of journal entries, as well as ensuring that all entries are properly supported
Prepare or review account reconciliations and analyses, and ensure that they are properly supported and completed in a timely manner, as well as partner with key stakeholders of said accounts to make sure that any variances are adequately explained
Partner with team members and accounting leadership to identify and drive process improvements
Prepare various audit schedules as required for annual or quarterly reviews, and respond to internal and external audit requests as needed
Provide schedules and other documentation, as applicable, to support the quarterly SEC reporting process
Ensure compliance with applicable SOX controls
Assist in the development and maintenance of accounting policies/processes/procedures
Assist with special projects and other duties as needed
Support processes that ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley control requirements

What you'll need:

B.S. or equivalent in Accounting or equivalent work experience in Accounting
Advanced degree in Accounting or other business related field is preferred
Minimum 3-5 years of corporate or general accounting experience      
Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks
Strong analytical, collaborative, and communication skills
