Position Overview:
You are responsible for high-level design, with experience with SpringBoot, React and distributed systems. In this critical role, you will represent our clients in cross-team solution design discussions on future direction, and help shape the future of client BI in business travel.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements
- Design, implement and support software improvements or new products
- Write well-designed, efficient code, and review, test and debug team members’ code
- Lead and mentor junior developers
- Anticipate and prevent problems and roadblocks, before they occur, and present technical issues and their impact to management
- Champion creative, tractable new ways to improve coding standards across the team and broader org
Experience and Qualification:
- Experience in full stack software development including Javascript, Java and RESTful services
- Good time management skills
- Strong problem-solving and logical skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Self -starter, who can quickly understand the eco system & kick start development
- Must thrive in a fast-paced, agile/SCRUM work environment
- Well versed with Java design patterns, data structures & algorithms
- Experience in designing, developing and delivering software and/or platforms used by other developers
