Summary
The Machine Operator 1 position performs the processing of raw meat product under the supervision and direction of the Raw Meat Supervisor.
Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
1. Performs the careful handling of raw meat product in a fast paced environment
2. Shovels raw meat product into the tumbler machine. Pushes raw meat product into the injector machine.
Monitors the raw meat product coming out of the injector machine,using meat hooks to place the product evenly in the combo. Must be able to stand between 2 – 3 hours at a time.
Must be willing to follow all GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) of the company which include but are not limited to: use of a hair net, use of a company approved frock, no jewelry, no nail polish or artificial nails, no shorts, no open-toed shoes, no ripped clothing or rhinestones/glitter on clothing, no chewing gum, candy or tobacco.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to cold temperatures as low as 38 degrees Fahrenheit. The floors in the environment are wet and can be slippery. The noise level in the work area is considerable (ear plugs are required and provided)
