Executive Director – Ambulatory Services Opportunity

Millwood Hospital is a 134-bed mental health facility that provides inpatient and outpatient mental health and chemical dependency treatment. The Executive Director provides the leadership and strategic planning for all ambulatory services (outpatient facilities) in the Dallas Ft. Worth Market, ensuring the delivery of clinical programs that meet the needs of the facilities, community and each facility’s performance goals and objectives. Responsibilities include the overall administrative processes of budgetary control and management systems for all services offered at all facilities. This position contributes to the facility’s strategic planning objectives, educational and quality improvement efforts while providing guidance to directors at each outpatient facility.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree from an accredited university in the field of Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Nursing or another mental health related field preferred. Combination of education and experience may be considered.

Five (5) years of experience in a psychiatric health-care facility.
Current LMSW, LPC, LCSW, or RN (license issued by the State of Texas).
A strong knowledge of regulatory and accreditation agencies’ regulations, and patient rights standards and all other applicable federal and state laws regulating mental health care facilities. CPR and CPI training as outlined/required by facility.
