Summary:

Manage projects related to building and maintaining strong corporate partnerships within key large corporations – as well as support business development events and strategic marketing efforts to increase participation within these core audiences.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

-Drive new member acquisition and business development at key local companies.

-Plan and execute virtual (current) and onsite (future) promotional and financial well-being events (benefit fairs, seminars/webinars, rollouts or Grand Openings, membership drives, etc) and represent the credit union professionally.

-Track and optimize use of individual BD budget.

-Maintain up-to-date industry and BCU product knowledge.

-Collaborate with Marketing team to develop compelling new member campaigns and contests.

-Maintain accurate monthly tracking and metrics for department (i.e. event tracking, profitability, ROI, cost to acquire, etc).

-Present content as polished public speaker.

Manage logistics for financial well-being efforts, targeted campaigns and other programs.

-Brainstorm and plan creative promotional concepts and campaigns that support relevant growth goals. Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Post-pandemic travel is required – 50% local and 50% out of state. Flexibility is necessary with multiple work locations, varying work hours, and some evening or weekend activities.

Bachelor’s degree required, with major in Marketing, Sales, or Business preferred.

2-3 years successful account management, event planning or marketing campaign experience required.

Excellent professional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Strong level of comfort with all Microsoft Office required, with emphasis on Excel and PPT.

Positive attitude and demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team.

Experience managing projects a plus.

Experience in financial services and/or creating marketing campaigns a plus.
