We want you on our team...Clark Regional Medical Center located in Winchester, a 15 minute drive from Lexington, KY is searching for a full-time, night shift, Telemetry Tech to join our team!

Essential functions of position include, but are not limited to:

Performs continual surveillance of multiple monitors.

Identifies significant arrhythmias and/or signs of patient distress and intervenes appropriately. Identifies and corrects for artifacts.

Reports abnormal assessment and telemetry findings or changes in patient physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.

Tests equipment for proper working order. Reports equipment problems to supervisor.

Job Requirements

Minimum EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent: Required

Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Ability to pass Cardiac Telemetry Examination upon hireSuccessfully complete Cardiac Telemetry Certification Course within 6 months of hire dateBasic Life Support (BLS): Required for (SRNA, CNA, EMT, LPN or Paramedic) non certified staff BLS not requiredState Registered Nursing Assistant (SRNA): Preferred but not requiredCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA): Preferred but not requiredEmergency Medical Technician (EMT): Preferred but not requiredLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Preferred but not requiredParamedic: Preferred but not required
