Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Manage employees to include schedules, training, productivity, and discipline when necessary.
• Oversee the daily production schedule, including overseeing floor employees.
• Responsible for ensuring quality systems are in place and comply with customer specifications.
• Manage production of customer product on a timely basis per schedule.
• Oversee logistics for the shipping and receiving of raw materials.
• Maintain and create a strong safety culture
• Oversee the organization of the work space and tools to increase efficiency.
• Move material around the yard with a cab over truck and forklift.
What you need to succeed:
3+ years supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
2+ years experience fostering a strong safety environment.
Forklift experience required
Experience utilizing your organization and planning skills in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, and loaders
Willing to work the hours needed to complete daily tasks
Shipping and Receiving/Logistics experience a plus
OSHA training is a plus
Recycling experience a plus
Experience with Six Sigma & lean principles is a plus
