Responsibilities
As the Risk Management Specialist on our Operational Risk Management team you’ll coordinate and implement risk management programs, processes, functions, and procedures. You’ll also assemble and compile reports related to risk management programs and collaborate with risk management professionals and other subject matter authorities to review and understand specific risk or process concerns and assist in recommending appropriate risk solutions. This is a highly consultative opportunity where you’ll think strategically to identify and solution problems!

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
5+ years operational risk management-related or similar experience (i.e., legal, compliance, audit, claims analysis).
High degree of integrity and actively collaborate and interact with all entities of Principal Financial Group.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and critical and strategic thinking abilities.
Strong interpersonal, relationship building, and consulting skills required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, including significant customer service skills.
Strong project management skills and work with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to maintain confidentiality is a must.
