This position serves as a contracts negotiator and administrator to support the exciting Radar Sensor Systems (RSS) Market Segment of the Rotary and Mission Systems IWSS line of business. The position is based in Syracuse, New York and the successful candidate will provide general contracts support within the RSS Airborne Radar & National Surveillance Radar Sub-market Segment.

The job responsibilities include the following:

• Preparing contracts work product such as proposals, contracts, terms and conditions, and modification documents.
• Ensuring that contracts are negotiated and administered in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Lockheed Martin policies and procedures.
• Reviewing and evaluating customer requests for proposals and modifications to contracts.
• Developing and executing negotiation and risk management strategies.
• Preparing and presenting briefings to management and customers.
• Developing productive working relationships with internal and external customers.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Entry level.

• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government SECRET security clearance.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

• Ability to understand core financial and business concepts.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with various contract vehicles, such as non-disclosure agreements and proprietary information agreements.
• Experience with various forms of U.S. Government contracts and federal acquisition laws and regulations.
