Position Description & Duties:

Specific Responsibilities:

The Instrument/Meter Technician Sr, for Apache Corporation will be a member of Apache’s Onshore Production Operations team at the company’s North Eunice, NM, office reporting to the Production Foreman Sr. 
 
This role will be primarily responsible for the following:

•    Manage and maintain the 100+ SAM POC’s within the Region.
•    Daily monitoring of XPOC or Cygnet systems to identify potential problems and provide pumper’s with that information.
•    Shooting fluid levels
•    Running rod designs on the current sucker rod applications within the Region.
•    Work with the Production Engineer to optimize current and design future artificial lift.
•    Work with Automation Tech to ensure that good success rate is achieved on telemetry.

Preferred & Minimum Requirements:

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

•    B.S. Degree or Associate Degree is preferred
•    High School diploma or equivalent required
•    10+ years directly related experience.
•    Must be proficient in all Microsoft applications and other PC based computer applications.
