Job Description

The Provider Enrollment Specialist II (PE) is responsible for completing defect-free and timely payor enrollment activities in support of clinicians joining Envision. The PE Specialist will work in partnership with a dedicated, cross-functional team that supports onboarding services for a specified market or geography. This position requires a strong teamwork orientation, solid verbal & written communication skills, and stellar attention to detail.

Software applications utilized include: Evips, Emworks and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), and browser-based base applications.

Responsibilities

Complete payor enrollments and all related forms in order to achieve successful enrollment outcomes in a timely and defect-free manner with healthcare payors.
Consistently document work assignment progress, enrollment follow-up status, and relevant in-process tasks within the specified systems and time frames.
Participate in daily management huddles and ongoing process improvement events to support a culture of continuous evaluation of quality and improvement.
Communicate with healthcare payor enrollment contacts to understand process and use this information to forecast accurate estimated effective dates for providers.
As necessary, escalate matters to management that may impede the process for timely enrollment with healthcare payors.
Complete related administrative tasks that support the enrollment process included but not limited to: document imaging & indexing and preparation of check requests.
Complete other duties as assigned.

Responsible for adhering to Information Security Policies and ensuring Envision is as secure as possible

Qualifications

Associate’s Degree or the equivalent of three or more years of related experience and/or training; or a combination of education and related experience.
2 years of relevant experience working in Clinical Staffing with desired experience in at least one of the following areas: Credentialing, Health Plan/Payor Enrollment, or Medical Staff Office operations
Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include MS Word and Excel.
Knowledge of provider enrollment, credentialing, medical terminology and insurance billing as demonstrated by work experience or education.
Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal communication.
Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.
