Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) In-Space Vehicles Engineering, located in El Segundo, CA, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Antenna RF & Array Engineer (Level 4). As an Antenna RF & Array Engineer, you will work on satellite antenna/payload products and capabilities that help our customers to meet their mission requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

* The Experienced Antenna RF & Array Engineering position will have responsibility for all aspects of spacecraft antenna RF design, manufacture, assembly, test, and hardware certification.
* A thorough understanding of electromagnetic principles as related to antenna engineering is required.
* The candidate must demonstrate operational excellence within the antenna organization and be capable of leading a multi-disciplined technical team.
* The position requires an individual to have demonstrated experience in spacecraft antenna analysis, design, test, associated ground architecture, and mission success engineering.
* Candidate should have demonstrated skills to actively identify strategic design solutions and champion trade studies.
* Candidate should have demonstrated skills to formulate solutions for shaped reflector and multibeam reflector based systems.
* Candidate should have demonstrated proficiency of Ansys HFSS and TICRA Antenna Analysis tools such as POS, CHAMP, and GRASP.
* Candidate must have the ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers.Work Authorization

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required)
Basic (Required) Qualifications

* Technical B.S. degree in electrical engineering (with antenna/ electromagnetics emphasis) to provide a solid technical foundation
* 7 years experience in space based antenna system design, analysis, and test
* 3 years of experience with shaped reflector and multibeam reflector based systems
* Demonstrated technical leadership skills
* Demonstrated effective customer relationship skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred (Desired) Qualifications

* Technical M.S. degree in electrical engineering (with antenna/ electromagnetics emphasis)
* Demonstrated experience (>8 years) with spacecraft antenna system design/analysis/test
* Demonstrated experience as a Subject Matter Expert in antenna analysis tools such as Ticra (GRASP and POS), HFSS
* Solid understanding of electrical engineering principles as related to space based applications

Typical Education/Experience
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD4 years related work experience, Master7 years related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
