Find your future with us.Boeing is seeking an experienced Aviation Maintenance Technician and Inspector who holds an active Secret or higher security clearance to perform maintenance, preventative maintenance and alterations on production and experimental aircraft prior to, during and post flight test activities in support of our BDS operations in Everett, WA.
Position Responsibilities
* Troubleshoot, inspect, test, repair, service aircraft and engine systems to prepare aircraft for flight.
* Perform Quality functions such as Customer/FAA Coordination, Configuration Change Verification, Conformity Inspections, Airworthiness Inspections (including Pre-flight and Post-flights), Corrective Action and Investigations.
* Initiate and document any nonconforming materials, hardware, software, tools, parts, assemblies, or portions thereof, according to specifications, processes, and procedures.
* Perform Aviation Maintenance Technician Inspector tasks in order to obtain and maintain knowledge, skills and required certifications.

* Perform audit/surveillance of all manufacturing and quality assurance processes, according to specifications, processes, and procedures.This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
* At least 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience on complex jet powered aircraft with military, airline or certificated repair station background
* This position requires an individual when working at heights to utilize fall protection equipment that has weight limitations.
* Must be able to work any shift, overtime and holidays as required.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
* Prefer a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate preferred. Please note your certificate number on your resume if you are certified.
* Prefer a minimum of five years of aircraft maintenance experience on complex jet powered aircraft with military, airline or certificated repair station background.
* Avionics and/or related aircraft electrical experience.
