Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking multiple Mid-Level Flight Data Technical Specialists to join the Customer Support Flight Operations Team in Seal Beach, CA.
Position Responsibilities
* Gather necessary data, information, and procedures to be incorporated in appropriate flight manuals including the Flight Crew Operations Manual and Quick Reference Handbook.
* Utilize our custom publications tool suite to author, edit, and publish flight manuals.
* Provides assistance and coordination with airline personnel to resolve flight crew operations issues and provides consultation related to in-flight emergencies and accidents.
* Under the direction of the model engineer and model editor, converts engineering data for use by flight crews develops flight operations data to support customer, regulatory agency, industry and company requirements.
* Assists with collecting information on customer publishing systems and digital data needs.The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience)
* Associates Degree or higher.Preferred Qualification (Desired Skills / Experience)
* 5 or more years experience developing/authoring flight operations publications for either commercial or military aircraft.
* Familiarity with commercial or military airplane flight manuals.
* Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse audience, both technically and programmatically.
* Ability to work well in a team-based environment.
Typical Education / Experience
* Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master4 years related work experience, 10 years related work experience, etc.)
