Position Responsibilities

* Responsible to the Director, GMD Operations and Support for the implementation and integration of Integrated Logistics and Product Support elements into a cohesive support concept for the GMD Weapons System
* Acts as Senior Consultant and recognized expert for O&S on Integrated Logistics and Product Support matters
* Responsible to the Boeing Program Director, GMD Program, to provide advanced knowledge and expertise to the entire GMD Program in the area of Integrated Logistics and Product Support
* Acts as Senior Consultant for Logistics and Support for both Long-Range Program planning and day to day execution
* Provides insight on the Boeing Companys technical capabilities in these areas to include application of Integrated Logistics and Product Support concepts, processes, and technologies in other Boeing programs and applicability to the GMD Program
* Acts as the GMD Program expert in Logistics and Support in the improvement and modification of the GMD Weapon System Support Concept. This includes the application of advanced Support Concept theories and technologies to meet long term business goals and objectives
* Recognized industry expert in Logistics and Product Support as both an internal and external source of reference for the Program and Customer staff
* Senior reference expert to support both day to day and long-range development programs (potential new business for the program)
* Suggests improvements and changes to the GMD Support Concept to insure effective implementation of Product Support goals, objectives and requirements
* Serves as the customer point of contact for Integrated Logistics and Product Support concepts
* Provides oversight and recommendations on decisions, plans, and process effectiveness in meeting GMD Program goals and objectives
* Responsible for integrating support concepts and processes from other GMD Partners and sub-contractors into a cohesive, effective GMD Support Concept
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
* This position requires an active <Secret> U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
* Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Clearance post hire
* Bachelors Degree
* 15 years experience in Missile Defense Product Support
* Must have experience in advanced Support Concept theories and technologies to meet long term business goals and objectives
* Must be a subject matter expert in logistics and product support
* Must be able to communicate effectively with senior militaryand industry leaders
Typical Education / Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 20 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD15 years related work experience, Master18 years related work experience, 24 years related work experience, etc.).This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility
