Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Maintenance Controller to join the team in China Lake, CA. The Kuwait Flight Test Program seeks a Service Technician to provide technical assistance, logistics support and research to a wide range of flight test activities and customers. The selected candidate will serve as the Maintenance Controller to provide proactive and customer oriented interaction with test operations crews, aircraft maintenance operations, flight operations, Materials Management Organization (MMO) and various Boeing support organizations.

Position Responsibilities

* Leads, plans, organizes and controls the maintenance and repairs of aircraft, aircraft components and support equipment
* Develops and maintains aircraft maintenance schedules
* Coordinates and monitors materials, tools, aircraft components and support equipment requisitioning, receipt, and allocation
* Documents and dispositions aircraft, components and support equipment maintenance dataThis position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

* 5 years of education and/or experience with aircraft maintenance
* 5 years of experience with flight line operations

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

* Have or have held an Airframe and Power plant (A&P) license
* Experience editing PowerPoint presentations as needed, as well as adding and presenting data
* 1 years of experience working as an aircraft mechanic
* 1 years of experience working with Flight Test
* Experience with the Discrete Work Requirement (DWR) system
* Experience organizing and planning logistics support for remote aircraft operations
* Experience developing positive customer/partner relationships
* Experience with proactive and customer oriented interactions
* Experience functioning in a dynamic environment and providingclear recommendations to management

Typical Education & Experience

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master8 years related work experience, 14 years related work experience, etc.).
