Find your future with us.Government Training Systems & Services (GTS&S) Test, a team in Boeing Global Services Training and Professional Services organization, is seeking a manager to lead the test effort for T-7 Red Hawk training devices. As the manager of the test team, the successful candidate will lead a diverse group of subject matter experts and test engineers to support the development of system requirements, provide subject matter expertise to developers and integrators, create and execute test plans and acceptance test procedures, support investigations into simulator anomalies and discrepancies, and report the results of testing to program management and the Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) team. As a manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting, training, developing and remaining continuously engaged with the test team. As part of the GTS&S SEIT team, the successful candidate will work with program management, the engineering capabilities, and the customer to deliver world class training to the warfighter.At Boeing, we are all innovators on a mission to connect, protect, explore and inspire. Find your future with us.Responsibilities:Manages employees performing activities within multiple (2 or more) Engineering disciplines. Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals. Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees.This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)Required Qualifications
* 10 years of experience in a leadership or management role is required
* Minimum of a Bachelors degree in any engineering (or related technical field) OR a Bachelors degree and extensive experience with weapon systems
* Previous test experience
* This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
Preferred Qualifications
* Prior experience performing operational or developmental flight testing in a tactical fighter/ trainer aircraft
* Experience leading complex projects
* Operational experience with military aircraft
* Experience leading agile teams, including formal training and coaching
* Experience working with Model-based systems engineering
