Job Description
OfficeTeam is looking for a candidate with a strong sense of initiative and determined to start their career as a highly-skilled Data Entry Clerk with a company in the Retail - Clothes & Access industry. We are searching for a data-driven experienced who pays great attention to detail and looking to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will need to have intermediate experience in spreadsheets and proficiency in database management. Do you have fast and accurate typing skills and impeccable organization? Then this is the Data Entry Specialist opportunity for you! This short-term temporary-to-full-time Data Entry Clerk role is based in the Rochester, New York area.
What you get to do every day
- Obtain further information for documents that are deemed incomplete
- Verify, correct, and delete unnecessary data, or combine data from several source
- Create notes of tasks, files, and progress
- Categorize information into spreadsheets, databases and customer relationship management systems
- Audit reports and sheets of data
- Methodically review completed work, checking for computation errors or duplicate values before submitting the final product
- Sift through websites for information
Requirements
- Data entry experience desired
- Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well
- Applicant must be familiar with word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems
- High typing accuracy
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
