Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is one of the largest publicly traded partnerships and a leading North American provider of midstream energy services to producers and consumers of natural gas, NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals. The Sourcing Specialist, Facilities Procurement in the Supply Chain Management Department will be responsible for purchasing quality materials, services, and equipment to the requested specifications while meeting engineering, maintenance and operational schedules.  The Sourcing Specialist will form an integral part of his/her procurement team, and will have opportunity for promotion based on performance and experience gained.  He/she can expect to work in a demanding, performance-orientated environment where efficiency, reliability, and teamwork are key drivers to success.  Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Working with Engineering and Operations to define and facilitate the request for quote process in accordance with Company’s Guidelines for Acquiring Goods and Services.
Evaluate commercial proposals, prepare and issue Commercial Bid Evaluations for internal review.
Provide recommendations to Engineering and Operations on various procurement strategies, including but not limited to pricing strategy, payment schedule, bidders list, etc.
Develop a depth of product knowledge and industry sources supporting the acquisition of materials and services viable to the Company’s on-going operations.
Purchasing materials, services and equipment at the best price without sacrificing quality and specification requirements.      
Ensuring that delivery of materials coincides with Engineering, Maintenance and Operational schedules.    
Issuing purchase orders in compliance with Company Policies and Procedures.
Examining requisitions for proper completion and compliance with Company Policies and Procedures.
Coordinating purchase order/receipt/invoice issue resolution between the requester, receiver, supplier and Accounts Payable.    
Expediting and tracking orders to assure required delivery and coordinate with Logistics to ensure appropriate transportation of materials.  
Identify sourcing opportunities through analysis of business and industry data, while staying abreast of market conditions.  
Maintaining and administering the life cycle of the purchase order.
Establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and service providers.

 
 Qualifications
 
 
 The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications: 

A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Business, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, or Strategic Sourcing or Supply Chain Management.
3-5 years of experience in Sourcing and Procurement, preferably in the energy industry or related industries (such as process, chemicals, etc.) is preferred.
Experience working with Oracle Financial or any other purchase order management software is preferred.  
Demonstrated client service experience, especially in meeting the needs and expectations of internal customers.
Demonstrated experience in the area of supplier or contractor management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
A highly motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Proactive with solutions, persistent.
Effective negotiator.
Demonstrated strong leadership potential.
Proficiency in the use of computer technology with emphasis on Microsoft Office suite of products. 
Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. provides midstream energy services to producers and consumers of natural gas, natural gas liquids (NGLs), crude oil, petrochemicals, and refined products. The company operates through four segments: NGL Pipelines & Services, Crude Oil Pipelines & Services, Natural Gas Pipelines & Services, and Petrochemical & Refined Products Services. The NGL Pipelines & Services segment offers natural gas processing and related NGL marketing services, as well as NGL export docks and related services. It operates approximately 19,200 miles of NGL pipelines; NGL and related product storage facilities; 16 NGL fractionators; and liquefied petroleum gas and ethane export terminals, and related operations. The Crude Oil Pipelines & Services segment operates approximately 5,300 miles of crude oil pipelines; and crude oil storage and marine terminals located in Oklahoma and Texas, as well as a fleet of 360 tractor-trailer tank trucks used to transport crude oil.

It also engages in crude oil marketing activities. The Natural Gas Pipelines & Services segment operates approximately 19,700 miles of natural gas pipeline systems to gather and transport natural gas in Colorado, Louisiana, New Mexico, Texas, and Wyoming. It leases underground salt dome natural gas storage facilities in Texas and Louisiana; owns an underground salt dome storage cavern in Texas; and markets natural gas.

The Petrochemical & Refined Products Services segment operates propylene fractionation and related activities, including 800 miles of pipelines; butane isomerization complex and related deisobutanizer units; and octane enhancement and high purity isobutylene production facilities. It also operates approximately 4,100 miles of refined products pipelines; and terminals, as well as provides refined products marketing and marine transportation services. The company was founded in 1968 and is headquartered in Houston, Texas.
