JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Pre-Delivery Inspector with the Quality team member your primary responsibilities will be to improve product quality, velocity, and cost by providing assistance to the assigned department in the form of data analysis, problem solving, and work validation.
Duties/Responsibilities
• Support/coordinate out of process containment activities to ensure quality product.
• Monitor quality performance of the line (reject activity, holds, etc.) and react to issues accordingly.
• Support the BIQ process using root cause and data analysis.
• Create quality alerts per established guidelines to maintain operator awareness.
• Provide support to quality issues identified on the production line as needed.
• Perform weekly audits of IPVs to ensure critical processes are performing correctly.
• Lead and support CPS continuous improvement activities.
• Create/Update inspection gate check sheets to increase facility stop capability.
• Keep assigned production area aware of Customer issues, and other quality concerns through the daily team communication.
• Communicate issues through escalation and assist in Preventative and Corrective actions.
• Provide information to the team through daily pass down in the approved format.

*Engineering blueprint reading/interpretation experience.
