Job Description:Electrical Testing Estimator

Duties and Requirements

Responsibilities
* Complete in-depth electrical equipment counts, and take-offs based on large drawing and specification packages for certified NETA Electrical Testing nationwide.
* Assist in the development of a schedule for each project, as well as assign responsibility throughout the organization to ensure project deadlines are met.
* Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with the assigned internal salespeople and their clients.
* Assist in team growth and development.
* Assist in developing new estimating and team procedures.
* Consult with internal sales as well as other departments to discuss and formulate accurate estimates.
* Periodically attend and assist the internal salespeople in performing end of the month job reviews.
* Capable of assisting the Sr. Electrical Estimator/Manager in mentoring, training, and reviewing / checking the work of other estimators who possess varying levels of competency.
* Track opportunity activities using Salesforce software.
* Meet and exceed annual estimating and sales goals.
* Work directly with the Power Sales Team nationwide to assist in closing opportunities.

Qualifications
* A minimum of 10 years of electrical field experience preferred.
* A minimum of 5 years of basic management experience required.
* Electrical Technical/Engineering degree preferredexperience, training/schooling and other licenses/ certificates will be considered in lieu of degree(s).

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
* Advanced understanding of electrical one-line diagrams, schematics, electrical construction specifications and electrical equipment
* Extensive project management skills required.
* Ability to work calmly under deadlines and external pressure.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Strong computer skills (especially in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook)
* Basic understanding of most recent NETA ATS & MTS standards
* Strong ability to work independently.
* Exceptional organizational skills
* Intellectually Independent

Physical Demands
* Ability to sit for long periods of time.
* Ability to withstand extended exposure to a computer monitor(s), which may at times be straining on the eyes.
