Primary Responsibilities

The Sr. Product Manager, Medical Benefit Solutions will be responsible for the full product lifecycle management, including strategy, design, development, management, and end of life of new, existing or acquisition products. As well as driving and fostering growth and innovation in the world of Medical Benefits Solutions by executing the following
* Gathering and presenting key data insights, trends, opportunity analysis and business case development across products and clients to inform strategy with innovative products that secure our position as the market innovators in payor focused Specialty solutions
* Creating disruptive and holistic solutions to support payor clients in their objectives of managing cost, utilization and quality for complex and high-cost patients managed through the Medical Benefits
* Developing robust product and client performance tracking tools based on internal data and current and anticipated market trends to deliver new market leading solutions to marketAdditional duties will include
* Collaborate across organization – Product, Analytics and Reporting, Finance, Industry Relation, Clinical Legal, Sales, Marketing – to develop innovative strategies that provide winning solutions to manage high-cost therapies in market and in pipeline and performance measurement tools to proactively identify key trends for program optimization
* Develop modeling of new product opportunities, program enhancements, client reporting, and product performance
* Build and execute medical benefits product roadmap including but not limited to
* Medical formulary and coverage strategies
* Innovative utilization management approaches and operational processes
* Provider education and incentive strategies
* Cross-benefit alignment strategies to better manage utilization and drug spend
* Roadmap to expand our suite of services beyond specialty pharmacy

Required Qualifications

* Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
* 4 years of experience within Pharma and/or pharmacy benefit management (PBM) industry, including experience in Formulary management or operations
* 3 years of experience and understanding of pharma pricing and PBM strategy, including knowledge of current reimbursement methodologies

* PharmD, BS in Pharmacy, PhD or MS in HEOR, MBA, MPH
* Experience in medical drug management
* Experience leading and overseeing cross-functional initiatives, with a moderate to high degree of complexity
* Expertise in the following areasStrategic planning, Product life cycle management and Drug rebates

Colorado Residents Only The salary range for Colorado residents is $94,500 to $171,700. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
