Responsibilities:
Participate in the definition of key scenarios, use cases, and end-user experiences
Design, implement and refine chosen solutions in close partnership with Product Management and partner teams.
Identify hard problems, evaluate the pros/cons of practical solutions, and drive decision making.
Drive long-term design thinking for systems and engineering processes with simplicity and maintainability as core tenets
Learn from and collaborate with external developers to find issues, understand scenarios, and empower them to delight M365 customers.

Mentor and develop engineers across all levels through sharing and learning

Basic Qualifications:
8+ years of industry experience in full-stack, front-end, or back-end software development using C#, Java, JavaScript, or other high-level programming languages
Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or related engineering field
Ability to design, architect, and drive the development of large features or functionality
Demonstrated technical leadership experience
Proven track record of customer-focused innovation
Excellent technical, cross-group collaboration and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with web technologies and knowledge of modern engineering practices like automated deployments with integrated quality gates and experience working with modern version control systems like Git
Knowledge and experiences with Teams app development, O365 API surface, Microsoft Graph, Fluid framework
Willing and able to learn modern technologies and open-source components to find the right tool for the job
Passion for developer experiences which enable effective end-user experiences
