Your Role and Responsibilities
The Analytic Consultant will work independently to provide analytic consulting support on a full time basis to a specific assigned client on projects and proposals. Responsible for task leadership and sub-task management on small to mid-size projects.
Location: Client location in Auburn Hills, MI.
Essential Responsibilities:
Collaborate with client to identify and execute the appropriate analytic methodologies to support your client’s actions and decision-making using basic skills in statistics and database management.
Provide on-site and/or telephone support (e.g., client inquiries, requests for ad hoc reporting assistance, miscellaneous research, advice on analytic methods) and training to assigned client end users.
Development and documentation of analytical results, and with the presentation of these elements to your client.
Completes assignments on time and manages sub-tasks within client’s budget.
Mentors junior staff and fosters teamwork to complete designated tasks.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as: Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or Applied Mathematics, or equivalent education and experience.
2-3 years experience in the healthcare industry and/or quantitative work .
Proven analytical skills and basic skills in basic statistical analysis.
Effectively manages own time for managing multiple tasks simultaneously, while completing work within allocated time.
Takes initiative and demonstrates problem solving ability.
Performs self review of work.
Applies intermediate PC skills; experienced in Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word).
Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills.
Displays solid presentation, questioning and listening skills.
Strong customer service orientation.
Willingness to travel (as necessary)
