Job Description
Accountemps is looking to hire a skilled Accounting Clerk for a reputable organization. In this role, you will be responsible for data entry, matching invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers, and assisting in the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). Your responsibilities as the Accounting Clerk will include:
-Data entry of Purchase Orders and invoices
- Help Accounts Payable: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filing
- Contribute to Accounts Receivable: help with collection of past due balance, process daily invoices/credit, and apply cash receipts
- Group documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of accounting codes and expenditure codes
Requirements
-Prior Microsoft Excel experience
- Ability to multitask, collaborate and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds in a fast-paced environment
- Data entry experience desired
-Detail oriented, ability to prioritize tasks, and team player
- AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
