Job Summary:
Under routine supervision, this position is responsible for ensuring parts are available to truck and trailer technicians for repairs. Manage inventory stock levels, perform audits, and submit orders to maintain an adequate supply of parts. Maintain information systems and process core and warranty returns according to Company requirements. This position has the possibility to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends in addition to overtime; it requires full-time attendance.

Fulfill parts requests by technicians and ensure parts are properly charged to the unit underrepair
Receive inbound shipments of parts and fuel to ensure proper quantity ordered and free ofdamage,stock inbound parts to proper storage location and update informationsystems
Conduct Cycle Counts and periodic inventories asrequired
Ensure each unit has required inventory of equipmenttodetermine usability and replacement of non-functionalequipment
Maintain JBHT information systemsregardingparts receipts, shipments, inventories, andusage
Provide administrative support by copying and typing correspondence, maintainingrecords,andfiling
Retain and ship parts per the Company’s Warranty Retention and Core Management procedures
Maintain a clean, well-ordered work environment free of trash andhazards
Ensure compliance of safetypolicies
Mentor and train other shop personnel
Perform other duties asassigned
Observe all Company safetyrequirements
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Up to a 12 to 18 months of direct experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends if needed.
