Job Description
Shift: Sunday-Thursday 6pm-4am
Responsible for the team’s production and successful on time truck departure’s
Manage priorities for respective night shift functional areas
Responsible for interactions with other Operations teams as appropriate
Partner with other groups and peers on process improvement opportunities that will help improve the customer experience and/or improve throughput
Plan, develop, implement and evaluate appropriate policies and procedures for Night Shift operations.
Determine root cause of issues and communicate appropriately to internal and external customers.
Manage the work activities of direct reports to ensure the highest productivity. Identify and develop key performance standards and metrics to drive desired culture and work to ensure their achievement.
Oversee all support personnel training to ensure applicable subject matter expertise as well as identification of new learning opportunities and distribution of knowledge across team members.
Minimum Requirements
5+ years operational experience including at least 2 years in a people management role.
Thorough knowledge of Operations Management
Excellent organizational skills
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Experience collecting and analyzing performance management data
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
