We’re looking for a senior level program manager with a passion for building and driving results in a fast-paced organization. This person will join Tableau’s Corporate Strategy team and lead projects related to Salesforce integration efforts, operational improvements and strategic initiatives. The Corporate Strategy Senior PM will work closely with a variety of functional areas across both Legacy Tableau and the broader Salesforce organization. The ideal candidate will have the ability to quickly learn our business and gain an in-depth understanding of our products and technology.

What you’ll be doing…

Drive key cross-functional initiatives from formulation of strategy to execution of projects.
Creation and management of project plans, periodically preparing project proposals and executive updates.
Structure and support operational reporting cadence, including quarterly business reviews, corporate calendar and strategic priority updates.
Track and manage strategic priorities and follow-up items.
Become an advanced Tableau user.

Spreadsheet and PowerPoint/Google slide expert.
Ability to simplify complex issues into manageable tasks or decision points.

Proven leadership skills in developing, directing, organizing, managing, coordinating and monitoring complex processes.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, including the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the company.
Inspires confidence and engenders trust by consulting and building effective working relationships with team members across a variety of functions.

Analytical & Strategic Thinker

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to make decisions while seeing and considering the big picture.
Understand industry and technology trends and their impact on Tableau’s business.
Unfaltering attention to detail with the ability to conduct independent analyses, transforming into executive level proposals, resulting in creating, presenting and executing findings.

Experienced.

Demonstrated maturity, discretion and independent judgment; high personal and professional integrity.
Excellent self-management practices and an independent thinker; exceptional work ethic; self-directed and resourceful.
Ability to operate with a high degree of sensitivity and confidentiality.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field; MBA a plus.
5+ years of experience in program/project management, operations and/or equivalent experience (e.g., scaling a business, driving change across a company).
High tech industry experience preferred.
