Job Description
Position Overview:
Provide exceptional customer service and ensure efficient daily operation within the Warehouse department by accurately receiving, storing, preparing, and shipping orders of products while complying with internal and external requirements.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Palletizing, shrink wrapping, and labeling freight
Confirming dimensions, weight, and piece count against documentation with inspection for overages, shortages, or damage.
Load and unload trucks and ocean containers using forklift, pallet jack, or by hand.
Stage freight for consolidation and shipping.
Desire to understand overall department process flow and constantly seek opportunities for improved efficiency.
Maintain compliance standards at all times- including internal policies and procedures, external government regulations, and customer requirements.
Notify both internal and external customers of delays and/or problems.
Use of computer and scanning equipment for timely and accurate communication and data entry.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Type 40 WPM
10 key ability 12,000 KPH
Must be able to pass an extensive background check
Must possess a valid driver’s license
