Job description
Proactively plan, perform and report on risk-based audit assignments.
Perform audit procedures including interviews with process owners/key stakeholders, walkthroughs, fieldwork testing, provide evidence of audit work and documentation in the form of working papers in accordance to IIA standards, and support the Audit Lead and Management in ad hoc assignments.
Proactively manage the follow-up on all audits to ensure all recommendations are implemented within the agreed timeframes to an appropriate standard.
Interact with London and Paris audit team on a regular basis to ensure a coordinated approach to internal audit activities.
Keep up-to-date with developments in the energy sector, Internal Audit best practice and TechnipFMC business
You are meant for this job if
Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field
2-5 years of auditing experience which includes external auditing (Big 4 experience highly desired) and/or internal audit (financial based audits).
Understanding of current accounting ( GAAP & IFRS) and auditing frameworks (COSO, COBIT, IIA, etc.)
Ability to travel 30% of the time both internationally and domestically
Related industry experience within the energy sector strongly preferred
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong communication skills (i.e. written, oral, and presentation) with the ability to lead meetings
CPA/CIA designation preferred or be a candidate able to sit for exam
Ability to work hard to tight deadlines for a demanding client base
Previous experience of working with SAP/GEOS/Hyperion/Oracle.
Fluency in a foreign language is a plus
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task
