Your Responsibilities:
Inspect and monitor quality of maufacturing ware prior to shipping.
Utilize hand tools, brooms, measuring devices including wire gauges, calipers, computer terminals.
Follows all department and plant SOPs and policies.
Defect analysis (gauging and visual) of finished ware.
Feedback to maintenance personnel regarding necessary adjustments to inspection machines, conveyors, stacker, etc. to improve and maintain top quality.
Communicate to forming employees regarding the findings of suspect ware.
Reporting to Crew-leaders and Supervision any bad glass, bad machine conditions, or defective machine parts which cannot be corrected.
Keeps work area, tools and equipment clean and orderly.
Gauge weight and selected physical dimensions on complete set out and/or random sample and record using computer terminal.
Maintain any records or reports as directed.
All other duties as assigned.

At least 18 years of age.
High School Graduate or GED.
The ability to work in a team envirionment
Must be hignly safety conscious.
