Job Description

Primary Job Responsibilities:

The main responsibility of this position will be to assist in the completion of program management projects.

Support cross-functional communication for project-timing charts and schedule as determined by appropriate staff between customer and other internal stake holders
Participate in extended support of operations, quality, or engineering beyond what a typical program would require
Ensure that the adequate resources are assigned to all project tasks; Elevate deficiencies to the appropriate management staff
Act as Dana stakeholder contact and participate with specific customer contacts to ensure all their program related inquiries and requirements are addressed
Identify program risks and establish suitable contingency plans with the team
Work with project activities, publish minutes / tasks, follow up on open issues with team members
 
This position is an opportunity for cross-functional growth in corporate and manufacturing settings. This team works closely with program management teams.
 
Requirements:

Enrollment in an engineering or business program
Previous co-op within automotive industry or Dana is a plus
Candidate must have a passion for program management
Self-directed and motivated individual with excellent organizational skills; willing to take initiative to complete job tasks
Computer proficiency in a Windows environment utilizing Microsoft Office
Must be capable of performing duties with limited supervision
Excellent interpersonal skills to permit effective interaction with all levels of Dana and external customers
