What We're Looking For
The time is right to join HNTB! We are seeking a Marketing Team Leader in our growing Oakland, CA office. This role will be responsible for writing and leading proposal and interview preparation for large/complex pursuits. Collaborates with pursuit teams in developing win strategies. Will also oversee the work of other marketing team members.
Primary Focus Will Include:
Managing positioning, proposal and interview efforts for large, complex pursuits.
Overseeing the day-to-day activities of a team of coordinators and graphic designers.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Mentoring experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Possesses a strategic mindset and sound judgment.
Ability to build trust and influence others.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign), SharePoint, and other communications-related software programs.
What You'll Need
Essential Responsibilities:
Writes/leads qualification packages, proposals and leave behind material for complex/largest pursuits.
Collaborates with technical staff and writes/reviews/edits original content for clarity, compliance and key messages.
Works with individual pursuit teams to develop pursuit strategies, including providing business intelligence on clients, competitors and HNTB.
Assists marketing manager with activities related to day-to-day supervision of the staff, which may include performance reviews and training/mentoring of staff.
Assists in the ongoing development and refinement of QA procedures, and serves as quality control review of materials developed by Department.
Organizes and facilitates pursuit strategy meetings.
Organizes and coaches the technical staff in presentation phase.
Supports client service teams by preparing materials for internal and external meetings, as well as participating in client service team meetings.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business or relevant degree
