Responsibilities:
Identifies, develops and implements programs to improve reliability, quality, safety and reduce variability
Provides day-to-day technical support to production team including guidance to team members and leading problem-solving processes such as root cause analysis
Designs and optimizes production processes, initiates projects, monitors the status of projects and drives them to completion
Ensures compliance with all PSM and regulatory processes
Ensures all technical and procedural systems operate properly
Ensures achievement of the four core principles of Stewardship, Quality, Reliability, and Engagement in implementing process, product, and equipment changes
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline, preferably mechanical engineering
Minimum of 3 years of verifiable work experience in manufacturing engineer role(s)
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities to help achieve objectives and long-term vision
Experience with statistical methods and root cause analysis
Continuous improvement experience and/or training
Strong written and verbal communication skills
