Job Description Summary

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for People Leaders and employees to provide counsel, coaching and support on HR fundamentals and employee related questions. The successful candidate will provide HR support to a team ~200 hourly employees and ~ 100 salary employees. Successful candidate will demonstrate passion, enthusiasm, and high levels of engagement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Transparent communication, prioritizing employee follow-up, employee advocacy, and the ability to achieve results without sacrificing respect will all be key.

Job Description


Essential Responsibilities

* Provide dedicated guidance and coaching to multiple shop operation managers and employees with specific focus on:employee advocacy / engagement, HR fundamentals and process training, employee relations management, performance management, career development, talent assessment, recruiting, retention, workplace investigations as appropriate
* Partner with Sr. HRM and HRBP to execute business-specific HR strategies
* Partner with site HR Specialist and Operations Leaders to support any and all ADP/timekeeping priorities and needs.
* Provide employees and managers with an available first point of contact for leadership, questions and guidance on fundamental HR topics and issues; escalates concerns beyond their scope to Sr. HRM;
* Engage with employees regularly to become an expert of our people and the way they work; employee advocacy
* Ensure that all employee relations issues are properly identified, reported, investigated and resolved
* Provide advice and counsel to managers and employees to ensure consistent application and integration of policies, procedures and practices at 100% compliance to promote an ethical, and compliant work environment
* Lead key HR processes including hourly compensation planning and compliance
* Conduct HR training and support for functional processes like Performance Development, New Employee Orientation, and other HR programs
* Implement local programs to drive and maintain a positive environment
* Maintain and protect confidential data with utmost scrutiny, judgment, and care - Assist with other HR special projects or initiatives as needed

Required Qualifications

* Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university or a high school graduate/GED equivalent with at least 7 years of relevant work experience in Human Resources
* Minimum of 3 years of previous HR experience required, preferably in a manufacturing or supply chain setting
* Minimum of 2 years of previous HR leadership experience required, preferably in a manufacturing or supply chain setting
