Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

Regular attendance
Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position, with or without accommodations
Provide engineering support to the Quality department
Drive advanced quality product initiatives by working cross functionally with other areas from initial notification through product launch, including PPAP
Customer liaison with ownership of inquiries, concerns, issues and general information
Thorough understanding of customer scorecards and drive needed improvements
Support sourcing with supplier development/approval
Draft and revise reports, procedures and documents
Lead quality management system reviews
Ensure full site quality compliance and maintain sustainable/effective QMS
Conducts internal/external product, process, system and layered audits
Ensures complaints/failures are resolved timely
Identify, implement and support methods to improve site quality metrics including 1st pass yield, scrap, rework and defect reduction
Provide active input to continuous improvement
Analyze/interpret quality results/information
Travel as necessary

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Technical discipline, with at 2 years of experience in manufacturing environment
Quality Management experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
Knowledge of TS16949 & IATF Standards
Technical/Analytical
Knowledge and application of quality tools for process and product controls
