Job Description Summary

As the Sr. Manager - Digital Product Management for WindSCADA, you will lead strategy and execution of GE renewable energys Wind Farm SCADA software applications. WindSCADA product family is critical in enabling plant asset monitoring and reporting, provides reliable data integration to improve overall asset operability and reliability, as well as internal and external data access. You will establish and communicate the vision for this critical product, tactically manage the ongoing development and maintenance for continued improvement, as well as ensure its seamless integration with SCADA Platform. This role will also be responsible for the go-to market strategy, commercial model, cost and pricing structure as well as product life-cycle management by collaborating closely with the commercial and service team.

Roles and Responsibilities

* Accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. Integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, be involved in long-term planning, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
* Developing specialized knowledge of latest commercial developments in the area of SCADA and Digital, and communication skills to influence others. Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
* Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.
* Continuously drive WindSCADA MGPP with inputs from internal and external stakeholders, market needs, and competitive intelligence.
* Drive business case analysis, funding, staffing, and oversee project management for NPI programs for both continuous development on the legacy product and successfully launch next generation WindCADA product together with the platform team.
* Partner closely with other product managers of across Digital Wind Farm products, data teams, and engineering team to materialize outcomes from inception through implementation as well as life-cycle support.
* Collaborate with field service team and customer on emerging fleet issues.
* Work with SCADA platform team to ensure seamless integration, development schedules alignment, and commercial options.
* Drive WindSCADA revenue by supporting sales teams with training and documentations on the WindSCADA product & service, creating stickiness of the product to drive transactional sales and SaaS subscription sales, determining new and unique pricing models necessary to maximize winning bids, driving increases in transactional and maintenance services by engaging service directors and transactional sales leaders.
* Understand the current landscape of the plant SCADA market, including key competitors, business models, monitoring services, technology trends/differences/capabilities, and pricing.
* Prepare business cases to drive cross-functional support and scale capability with demand.
* Work closely with engineering team to provide clear requirement on product features and development prioritization through OKR (Objective and Key Results), and be accountable for OKR completeness.
* Support projects to reduce costs in the equipment & installation (vendor, manufacturing, services, installation, etc.).
* Negotiate with internal and external suppliers to get best pricing for software, hardware, and maintenance agreements.
* Ensure patents and intellectual property are updated with each feature release/modification and monitor for patent infringement.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelorsdegree inengineering,computerscience,informationsystems,ora relatedfield.
* Minimum5yearsofexperienceinproductmanagement,strategicconsultingorarelated field requiringanalyticalskillsandastrategicmindset
* OR leadership program graduate with minimum of 3 years in product management, strategic consulting or a related field requiring analytical skills and a strategic mindset.
