We currently have an exciting opportunity for a RCM QA SPECIALIST II.
The RCM Quality Assurance Specialist will perform and oversee the quality control processes within the RCM variance workflows. This position will ensure quality standards are maintained and department expectations are met.
Responsibilities
Im
Performs daily audits of worked invoices to ensure accuracy and department requirements are being met.
Tracks quality trends and identifies various patterns to inform department manager and supervisor.
Provides both onshore and offshore staff with QA results for the purpose of educational feedback.
Provides individualized feedback to staff to increase quality performance.
Training employees on quality standards and procedures
Preparing and presenting quality audits reports to management.
Developing and implementing quality contract audit plans
Maintains confidentiality of all information concerning patients, employees and/or company business
Other duties as assigned
Reads and abides by the company’s code of conduct, ethics statements, employee handbook(s), policies and procedures and other corporate mandates, including participation in mandatory training programs
Reports any real or suspected violation of the corporate compliance program, company policies and procedures, harassment or other prohibited activities in accordance with the reporting policies of the company
Obtains clarification of policy whenever necessary and may use the resources available through the Compliance, Human Resources or Legal Department to do so
Qualifications
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2 years of related AR Reimbursement experience
Microsoft Office Suite
Healthcare Billing System
Good organizational skills
Communicate and work well in a team environment
Meet established production and quality goals/metrics
Follow up in a timely manner on open items
Able to effectively prioritize work on a daily basis
Healthcare Billing System Experience (Preferably GE Centricity)
