This role is responsible for driving quality for assigned suppliers, including quality plan implementation. Select suppliers through qualification processes. Own supplier results, drive improvements utilizing supplier scorecards. Own supplier audits, ensuring compliance, and driving improvement plans where needed. In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.

Job Description
Key responsibilities & Deliverables include:
?Development of Suppliers Capabilities & ensuring timely readiness in NPIs & Supplier Transfer Projects.
?Drive manufacturing readiness at suppliers, by addressing design for manufacturability, testing, equipment and labor capabilities at our supply base.
?Co-Lead the development of validation & verification plan with Engineering and Part Quality requirements with Supplier Quality teams.
?Development of technically viable funnels by working closely with Engineering and Supply Chain teams & support building strong business cases.
?Engaged in productivity funnel, Disruptive cost work outs & NPIs to drive proper selection of suppliers technologies, capabilities for total cost.
?Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Supplier Quality-QA and Supply Chain organizations.
?Travel Expectation: 15-20% that can include international travel
Qualifications:
?Bachelors Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial engineering or related
?Minimum of 5 years experience in Manufacturing Processes, Supplier Development or Supplier Quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
?Experience in Lean Manufacturing with built-in Quality processes
?Excellent Knowledge in supplier management and manufacturing quality processes across Mechanical and Electrical commodities (like Fabrication, Machining, Composites, Harnesses and Assembly)
