DHC FAB in TI has been a hub of innovation for many years bringing creative solutions to an ever growing MEMS landscape. Today, DHC is partnering with DLP to develop their unique hermetic wafer level packaging process for projectors as well as automotive HUD and headlights. It also houses the majority of the Bulk Acoustic Wave (BAW) flow. In addition to typical fab processing, DHC’s equipment set includes Fusion Bond, TMAH Si Etch, Ion Trimming and thick resist capabilities with a number of the processes on glass wafers. Be a part of a small team to drive exciting future business for Texas Instruments. The DHC equipment engineering team is looking for a skilled Equipment Technician to support fabrication operations on night shift by providing technical expertise on Photolithography, Plasma, CMP, Wet, Thin Film and Metrology equipment. In this role, you will perform preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, equipment improvements, equipment upgrades, and equipment installations. You will interface and communicate with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to ensure all issues are solved appropriately and efficiently.
Responsibilities include:
Sustain existing equipment fleet
Improve system performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive downs/chronic equipment failure modes
Monitor and analyze all related data to improve and maintain tool performance and address all tool related issues
Identify innovative solutions to improve the baseline equipment performance
Build relationships and work with vendors to aid in equipment modifications
Coordinate supplier service and repairs where needed
Prepare technical reports/summarize findings and recommended solutions to technical problems
Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
Associate’s degree in any Technical related field and/or equivalent Military Electronics training
AND/OR Relevant experience in lieu of degree:
Industry or Semiconductor Experience
Already worked as a technician in a wafer fab
Preferred qualifications:
Looking for experience in operation and maintenance of Thin Film equipment (ex. Novellus C1, Oerlikon CLN200, MRC/TEL Mark IV Eclipse)
Looking for experience in operation and maintenance of Plasma equipment (ex. AMAT Centura 5200, LAM 9600, LAM 4500)
Looking for experience in operation and maintenance of Wet equipment (ex. DNS WS-820C, Akrion GAMA, Semitool SAT, Semitool SST, DNS 80A)
Looking for experience in operation and maintenance of Photo equipment (ex. Polaris workcells, Canon steppers, TEL Mark 8 tracks, Suss mask aligners)
Looking for experience in operation and maintenance of CMP and Bond equipment (ex. AMAT Mirra Mesa and EVG 850LT)
Looking for experience in operation and maintenance of Metrology equipment (ex. AMAT Compass, KLA UV1280, KLA 6400, Flexus 5400)
