Job Description
Robert Half Accounting and Operations is seeking a Payroll Clerk to join the growing team of one of our many clients! In this role, y9ou will support the Payroll Department in a variety of clerical duties including data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and more. Daily Responsibilities
Contact employees via phone and email to obtain timesheet approvals
Deliver instruction/training to employees regarding the use of payroll related systems including entry of timesheets, online access of pay statements and time off reports
Perform clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing and photocopying
Data entry into Excel and the payroll system
Download and distribute/save reports as needed
Build and run custom reports
Requirements
2+ year experience in accounting or HR
Strong MS office skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
ADP and/or PeopleSoft experience preferred
Ability to easily learn new systems
