In this position, you will identify and drive solutions that accelerate FreeWheel's performance, facilitate executive decision-making, and be a strategic advisor and execution partner to functional leaders. The Sr Associate will be involved in shaping the long-term goals of a fast-growing technology company and contribute to driving change throughout various parts of the organization (eg. sales, product & tech, operations).The ideal candidate will be a structured thinker, excellent communicator and quick learner who can evaluate and design solutions to address open-ended opportunities. This role will report to the Director, Business Ops & Strategy.
Job Description

Responsibilities:

-Support strategic planning and decision-making
-Structure and develop business cases, including synthesis of financial and operating data to justify investment decisions
-With support of your manager, define scope, stakeholders, success criteria and major milestones for strategic initiatives
-Partner with leaders across various business and corporate function to execute against strategic initiatives and deliver milestones in a timely fashion.
-Communicate interim progress and ultimate outcome of strategic initiatives to the ELT (Executive Leadership Team) and other internal groups
-Quickly gain deep understanding of new subject matter and the related business practices and processes in place around it. Advertising experience is not necessary, but the ability to quickly learn business models and think critically about the industry, is desired.
-Assist in coordinating and running major cross company events (i.e. leadership meetings, quarterly business reviews)
About You:

-Experience in a highly analytical role such as consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy / strategic planning with focus on media/advertising
-Ability to work collaboratively and develop working relationships at various levels across the company
-Proactive and curious, interested in learning all areas of the business and being deployed across ad hoc projects
-Understanding of the marketing value chain, key players and transaction models
-Strong interest in technology, advertising and software business models and industry trends
