Description
IMGs GPU Software team is seeking an experienced, self-motivated quality engineer with a passion for making the iOS and macOS experience the best it can be. You will work with the latest Apple products, ensuring that the graphics experience is the best in the world. In this role, testing efforts will target GPU SW technologies (Metal, display and compositing frameworks to name a few) for embedded and desktop platforms working closely with engineering teams to ensure product quality.
The QA effort includes hands-on functional testing, bug reporting/regression, maintaining test guidelines, and development and execution of automated tests. Supporting the Metal ecosystem is key for this role.
The successful candidate should have a strong aptitude for learning new technologies, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to drive sophisticated and exciting projects. Strong collaboration with engineering teams and an ability to thrive under pressure are key skills required to succeed in this role.
DAY TO DAY DUTIES:
Execute manual & automated testing, passionate about Metal technologies
Support development cycle of 3rd party applications.
Analyze test results of automated system, conduct defect isolation by means of data-mining and comparative analysis
Provide status reports for the team, multi-functional partners, and management
Education & Experience
Bachelors degree in EE, CS, or related field or Equivalent Experience..
