Job Description
The Shipping/Receiving Manager will be responsible for overall operations of the shipping/receiving and material movement functions at the Evansville facility. The Shipping/Receiving Manager will manage a team to receive all parts and materials, manage centralized store rooms, deliver parts and materials throughout the plant, and manage all external deliveries from the site.
Responsibilities:
Manage inventory controls and inventory accuracy.
Manage, train and develop warehousing associates.
Ensuring the organization and cleanliness for all warehouse areas.
Interact with procurement to ensure adequate supply of all inventory.
Cultivate a positive team dynamic that encourages all employees in the facility to provide feedback and drive change from within, adapt to the ever-changing business, and stay focused on the customer experience
Qualifications:
Minimum high school or GED is required
Associates or higher degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years of warehousing management experience preferred
Would consider warehousing experience with some other industry type of team lead or leadership experience
Computer: Microsoft programs - Intermediate to advanced preferred.
SAP PM module experience preferred.
