Job Description
Design and develop applications in C++ to support the Capital Markets Solutions (CMS) group in hedging and risk management of variable annuities (VA) and structured annuities (SVA).
Support daily operations of CMS through production and analysis of risk and performance metrics.
Responsibilities
Provide analytical support to the Capital Markets Solutions group in hedging and risk management of variable annuities (VA) and structured annuities ( SVA).
Design and develop applications in C++ for valuation and risk management of financial and live insurance derivatives.
Extract, aggregate, and analyze financial data and performance metrics for management review and action.
Contribute to the design and implementation of financial derivative and liability cash flow models.
Provide detailed and complete understanding of drivers that influence business performance.
Collaborate with internal and external business partners to support and strengthen controls environment.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors (or preferred Masters) in a quantitative field.
1-3 years of experience performing quantitative analysis.
Familiarity with the C++ programming language.
Demonstrated financial acumen and data analysis capability.
Experienced in developing data-driven conclusions and recommendations.
Ability to work in an environment with multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with large code bases, source control, and software engineering best practices.
Understanding of derivative pricing and market neutral valuation and risk management.
Ability to work independently; self-starter.
Strong relationship and communication skills in working with colleagues, influencing team members on recommendations and analysis results.
